KIDS YOGA (Ages 4-11)
Move & Groove! Combining Hip Hop & dance moves adding cardio and fun while building balance and strength with traditional yoga poses – kick it up a notch as hip-hop music provides the backbeat for group and individual dance, play, and creative movement.
Combining the ancient art of oral storytelling with the healing practice of yoga, this class helps develop focus, attention, breathing, peace & non violence skills, relationships, connections and imagination!
Yoga classes for kids provide a safe place for children to explore their bodies and their feelings. Yoga helps them develop better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. They
can also carry these skills beyond class and into their daily routines. Kids yoga classes are less centered on twisting little bodies into contortionist-style positions and more on getting to know one’s body in a fun, playful way and developing self confidence from the inside out and allows
them to relax.
Combining the fun lyrical world of playing musical instruments! with the healing practice of yoga, this class helps develop focus, attention, creativity and more! Kids get a chance to play singing bowls, flutes, chimes, drums and so much more! Join us on this magical journey of sound!
The children’s class includes a short talk, gentle meditation and arts and crafts activities related to the thought for the week. Kids learn how to develop harmony, confidence and methods to help calm their minds and strengthen family relationships
